Description
Red dune country running north towards the Kgalagadi, with the dune streets carrying the better grazing and the interdune flats holding water after rain. Six thousand eight hundred hectares in one title, unfenced internally.
The farm has been run as a low-intensity hunting and photographic property for two decades and is largely undeveloped by choice.
Improvements
Simple four-bedroom farmhouse with a wide stoep, a two-room guest unit and quarters for two staff. Solar plant with battery backup covers the whole werf; there is no Eskom connection.
Two equipped boreholes on solar pumps feeding five drinking points. Perimeter is stock fence, adequate for the species carried.
Wildlife & vegetation
Duneveld with camelthorn along the interdune streets and grewia thicket on the slopes. Grazing is sweet and the property carries stock through dry years better than the rainfall suggests.
Gemsbok, springbok, red hartebeest, eland, steenbok and duiker, with brown hyena, black-backed jackal and Cape fox resident.
