Description
Open Karoo veld running small stock and cattle, with reliable borehole water and a full set of handling facilities. The property carries roughly 340 large stock units on a normal season and has been rested on a four-camp rotation for the past six years.
Two thirds of the farm is level to gently undulating; the remainder rises to a low koppie on the western boundary which holds the best winter grazing.
Improvements
Four-bedroom homestead with a wraparound stoep, a separate two-bedroom cottage and quarters for four staff. Steel shearing shed with six stands and a wool press.
Full handling facilities: crush, loading ramp, scale and holding pens. Three equipped boreholes, two windmills and 14 km of internal fencing, all jackal-proofed in the last four years.
Land claims
A claim was lodged over a neighbouring portion in 2004 and was dismissed in 2011. This property is unaffected and the finding is on record.
